The positional accuracy of the data can be no greater than the tax assessor map positional accuracy of +/- 100 feet in upland areas and +/- 100 meters on the seaward water boundary edge. The tax assessors maps were initially manipulated by rubber sheeting and further corrected in localized areas to better match positions of anthropogenic features (eg. stone walls, roads). Boundaries of coastal waters over which the Reserve has jurisdiction (to a depth of eighteen feet) were interpolated from bathymetric maps (seaward boundary) or on-screen digitized from orthophotography (landward boundary).
