Each Select Population Group (SPG) is grouped to show both State Average (1st layer), and 75th percentile (labeled 75th) in order to compare the two options and decide which one to use.
Top 5 LEP Languages also includes 5% option (State Average (SA), 75th Percentile, and 5% Threshold).

The 75th percentile was calculated using only tracts with an SPG population greater than zero to avoid skewing results and lowering % thresholds below the State Average.

Symbology was initially classified using Quantile distribution than manually adjusted for visual balance or rounding of numbers. The lowest symbol value is the exact threshold value, and the top value is the rounded highest value in the data. These groupings can be further adjusted if needed.

",
